Contemporary Portraits

At Lightfolly Portraits we offer women an experience that invites them to reconnect with themselves. Women seldom allow ourselves in front of the camera, and when we do we hate what the camera captures. As a result, we have very few images of ourselves to treasure and pass down to our kids. Book a session with us and we will change all that.

Your portrait experience will begin with a home consultation, where we will talk about what to expect, wardrobe options, products, and more. Our portraits have a signature look, but what type of session you get will be driven by your vision and the kind of outfits you choose.

Our session fee includes two people, so you can have double the experience by inviting your best friend, mom, daughter, or partner to do this session with you. Just make sure they are at the consultation so we can all get ready together.

On the day of the session Samira will welcome you to her boutique studio, where you will be treated to professional hair styling and makeup artistry. She will do the rest! Samira has studied with internationally acclaimed photographers on how to direct your posing and use both natural and studio lighting in the most flattering way. Even if you normally hate having your picture taken or think you are not photogenic, we are sure you will have fun while she snaps away and captures your glow through her lens. You will want to make plans for lunch with your partner or friends afterwards, because you will look and feel incredible.

Two weeks after the session you will come back to the studio to see the images you've created together. You don't have to buy any images you don't absolutely love, but we are sure you will be blown away!
